A conversation with CISV Canada's honourary counsellors

Join us on 18 January 2026 at 2pm Pacific as we kick off to the CISV International 75th Anniversary!

This is your chance to hear from some of our honourary counsellors and what inspired them to stay involved in CISV and what messages they might have for us today. We also have some updates on some of the things CISV Canada will do to mark the 75th anniversary!

What are “Honourary Counsellors”?

CISV Canada has individuals who provide many years of distinguished service to CISV Canada. Upon departure from the National level of CISV Canada, these individuals take with them their experience, expertise and national perspective. Members of CISV Canada can be enriched, mentored, and assisted by these individuals. Incorporating the elected position of Honorary Counsellor keeps these individuals in the CISV Canada family, allowing them to be involved to the degree in which they are comfortable and/or needed by CISV Canada.
