CISV Victoria operates on a year round basis providing peace education and working to develop intercultural competence in a way that can directly benefit the local community.

Members of all ages and entire families take part in the organization. While there are international CISV opportunities, our local chapter is the highlight of any CISV experience. Active local involvement also enables individuals to apply for a number of international opportunities each year. Active local involvement by youth and adults of any age enables CISV Victoria to thrive, and our volunteers are vital to our success!

Payments

Costs are done on a sliding scale to make our programming accessible to everyone who is interested. Membership in CISV is done per family, including any youth and adults in that household. A family membership in CISV Victoria is $100-$300 per year. There is also an option for individuals who are 18+ who are continuing to be active members in our local chapter for $20-60 per calendar year (often leaders, alumni, or parents staying involved).

Payments can be made by e-transfer treasurer@cisvvictoria.ca. Please add “Membership 2023-2024” and your full name (and your other family members' names, if you're registering for a family membership) in the comment section of the e-transfer to indicate what you are paying for. Alternatively you can pay by cash or cheque at any CISV Victoria event or by sending payments and a note as to who/what you are paying for to:

CISV Victoria
Box 8058, Stn CE
Victoria, BC V8W 3R7

If the lower end of the scale is still a barrier to your participation in CISV, please email chair@cisvvictoria.ca or membership@cisvictoria.ca to request access to our bursary fund. We don’t want hardship to impede youth from participating in our local chapter!
