The National Junior Branch Training (NJBT) is a training forum for incoming Junior LJRs and other local JB members interested in leadership roles. It prepares participants for their term, builds leadership capacity, and strengthens JB Canada’s network. NJBT is designed and facilitated by the NJRs and a staff team of experienced JB members, with input from the JB Executive and National Adult Executive when appropriate.
NJBT is open to anybody ages 14-25 who’d like to attend and increase their leadership capacity in our Junior Branch. NJBT happens over the May long weekend each year. CISV Canada funds one attendee and CISV Victoria funds a second, however anybody who’d like to self-fund, or apply for a bursary through CISV Canada is also welcome to attend. If you’re interested in attending, please reach out to our Local Junior Representatives (LJRs), Astrid & Felix, by March 7th.
