The Junior Branch Self Evaluation Tool (JB SET) is a key assessment of JB’s community, structure, and impact worldwide. It was developed to give CISV a clear view of the Junior Branch’s impact. Earlier this year, Chapters and National Associations were surveyed on both achievements and concerns. The JB SET gathers the evidence that CISV’s International Junior Branch (IJB) needs for informed, inclusive-decision making.
Responses from the survey have been compiled and analyzed in the JB SET 2025 Report. Benefits of the JB SET are that it:
- gives CISV International a holistic view of how JB operates and the impact it creates
- provides clear insights for International and Regional JB Teams on strengths and gaps
- sets a baseline to track progress over time
- can turn the findings into action, feeding into the goals of the IJB year plan.
IJB is hosting a townhall on November 2 where they’ll be recapping the JB SET Report. Anyone from the JB community can attend! You can choose between two sessions: 9:00 AM GMT (1am PST) or 15:00 GMT (7am PST). The townhall will also be talking about IJBC (International JB Conference), the JB Conflict & Resolution Working Group, the IJB budget, and IJB Team applications for 2025-2027.
If you’re interested in reading the JB SET Report, or attending the Townhall, you can
reach out to NJRs, Estelle & Jack, who will send you all the details and the meeting link.
