The Uptown Multicultural Festival is returning next month — and you’re invited! Uptown Shopping Centre has partnered with the District of Saanich once more to bring a whole lineup of community cultural vendors, musicians and performances to Uptown Boulevard.
The Uptown Multicultural Festival (UMF) will take place on Sunday, June 22 from 11 am to 5 pm and aims to recognize the cultural diversity and inclusive community of Saanich. Uptown’s pedestrian boulevard will be filled to the brim with a wide array of multicultural vendors, and there will also be food trucks featuring different cuisines for you to sample. The event is free to attend, will be family-friendly and welcomes all ages!
At the festival, CISV Victoria will be one of the many community organizations with a booth to share what we do with the public. We’re looking for volunteers to take on shifts throughout the day at our booth and share CISV with the community. This is a great opportunity to help us get the word out and talk about why you love CISV! We’re required to have an adult at the booth at all times but we encourage JBers to sign up as well.
