CISV Victoria’s annual Winter Social is Friday, December 6th from 6-9pm at Maria Montessori Academy (184 Fairburn Drive, Victoria BC). This all-ages event is for the whole family to come and celebrate the holiday season.
The first hour will be a time for us all to gather and socialize with one another and share a meal. This will be potluck-style so you are encouraged to bring something to share. Please bring any dishware (plates, cups, cutlery, etc) you might need to eat your meal. The rest of the evening will consist of fun activities planned by our Steering committee for all to participate in.
Also at Winter Social: there will also be some merchandise available for purchase (get those gifts for the CISVer in your life!) by cash or by e-transfer. We will have a volunteer from our Chapter take back any bottles to the Bottle Depot so you can also bring any rinsed bottles and cans to Winter Social to clear out your recycling before the holidays.
We will also have side rooms available for anyone who still wishes to socialize, and another room where we will be filming some video testimonies to share about CISV. Programme applications are also due by Winter Social so if you had any questions it’s an opportunity to ask them in person, and speak to any of our exec members about all things CISV.
