2025 Programmes
Check out our programme invitations for the year ahead! Further details about applications, age requirements, and the selection process are down below.
CISV offers the opportunity for youth to participate in amazing programmes and become involved in a range of educational, leadership, and multi-cultural experiences. CISV International includes over 200 chapters worldwide. Its programmes are held in various locations around the world, usually during let June to August (the northern hemisphere summer) and in December and January (the southern hemisphere summer).
Applications
Applications are submitted electronically to programmes@cisvvictoria.ca. We are still accepting applicationf for all delegation-based programmes (i.e. Village, Youth Meeting, and Step Up) until January 17. Applications received after the submission date are only eligible if there are any remaining spaces on a first-come, first-serve basis. A deposit is required with each programme application: $250 to be e-transferred to treasurer@cisvvictoria.ca. This deposit is non-refundable, but will be returned if the youth is not selected to be a delegate.
Applicants for programmes, and at least one of their parents/guardians, will be asked to participate in an interview to share their goals, expectations, and knowledge of the programme and why they wish to participate. Application for a programme does not guarantee acceptance.
On the application form, applicants may indicate a preference for programme location if there is more than one programme for a particular age group. CISV Victoria aims to match each youth with their preferred programme location. However, it is not always possible for each delegate to attend their first-choice location. Please remember that the location plays a small role in the overall experience and the youth spend most of their time at camp. The CISV experience is fully international regardless of the location.
All legal guardians must sign all CISV legal and health forms and provide a notarized copy of any custody and/or legal guardianship arrangements as outlined in the application forms.
Applications for Seminar Camp are done through CISV Canada. Applications can be completed via this form, and are due January 10. Anyone who applies after this date will be put on a waitlist. Participants must be 16-17 years old from two weeks prior to departure and the full length of the programme.
Applications for National Camp are done through JB Canada. To apply please fill out this form by February 1. Each Chapter is given four spots for any genders, and additional spots may be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis once the initial deadline to apply has passed. Participants must be born Sept 1, 2008 - Aug 31, 2014. Staffing positions also available for those ages 21+.

Leaders
Our programs for under-16s are accompanied by volunteer adults. Each delegation of 4 children / teenagers is looked after by such a “leader”. They must be at least 21 years old. There is no age limit to the top. There are no costs for you, but we do not pay any stipends, however we are happy to issue a certificate. Want to know more about being a Leader? Read more here.
