CISV Chapters are the hub of CISV and are run entirely by dedicated volunteers. Our Chapters organize and run our local and international programmes, run local activities, and recruit new members.

Our Chapter is always pleased to welcome new volunteers to help with their regular work – fundraising, marketing, keeping the accounts, training, recruitment. Whatever skills and interest you have and however much time you are able to offer, we are interested in hearing from you!

Fund Development (Co)Chair(s)

Collaborate with our Fundraising Committee to explore sources of corporate and donor funding to support our Chapter. We're looking for someone with creative ideas for new ways to generate revenue for our Chapter. This role can be taken on by one person but is also well-suited for a pair to take on and share the responsibilities and help one another.

Mosaic Chair

Local communities are reflections of the wider world. Mosaic projects are developed by the Mosaic Chair to respond to local needs and interests. Most of the projects are planned and delivered in cooperation with partner organizations and come in many shapes and sizes. Mosaic projects create a practical and meaningful learning experience for local CISVers of all ages as well as delivers a benefit to the wider community.

Hosting Co-Chair

CISV Victoria is hosting a Youth Meeting in Summer 2024 and we need help planning! Want to spearhead the logistic coordination for planning a camp? Consider volunteering for our Hosting Chair position! You will have support by the entire Hosting Committee to help accomplish related tasks. We're looking for someone who has project management skills, leadership abilities, and is good at big-picture thinking.

Merchandise Coordinator

Do you have inspiration for a design? Great ideas for how we can diversify our merchandise? Consider volunteering to be CISV Victoria's Merchandise Coordinator! This is a non-executive position that works with the Fund Development Chair. It's a great way to take on a smaller role in our Chapter for those who might be unsure about taking on a board position. Membership Coordinator

The Membership Coordinator maintains CISV Victoria’s membership list, including sharing relevant information with executive members.  They are in charge of the annual membership form and ensuring memberships are up-to-date for the CISV Victoria community. This role is currently combined with the Recruitment Chair but can be split into two roles. It doesn't require being a part of the executive board, but is welcome to attend board meetings as desired.

Volunteer Coordinator

Do you like coordination? Are you good at seeing the potential in people and where they best fit into a team? Perhaps the role of Volunteer Coordinator is for you! We need someone who's able to keep track of all the interested volunteers who want to help out with our Chapter, where their skills lie, and how we can best leverage our volunteers when something needs doing!

Member At Large

Want to learn about our Chapter without committing to any one role? Want to get involved with a wide variety of projects and support in areas when it's needed? Want to be involved in our governance structure and see behind-the-scenes of CISV Victoria? Consider becoming a Member at Large! It's a great way for newcomers to take a bigger role in our Chapter but who aren't sure where to start. Attend board meetings to learn the goings on of our Chapter, and if you see an area where you'd like to help support then you can volunteer in ways that work for you!
