Come out and learn about CISV Victoria at this year’s Information Night!

On Friday, September 26th, from 7-8pm, we’ll be hosting an information session where the public can come and get to know our organization, hear about CISV Victoria, and discover our local, national, and international opportunities. Our event will be at Maria Montessori Academy (1841 Fairburn Dr, Victoria).

CISV is for youth ages 10 years and older, young adults, and families who want to experience the enrichment of cultural diversity through unique peace education programs and friendship. Youth members are encouraged to take a leading role in organizing, implementing, and participating in monthly activities.

CISV brings together young people to foster cross-cultural understanding and friendships in the hope of achieving peaceful solutions, facilitating thoughtful discussions, and increasing awareness of diversity and cultural differences. We offer local monthly activities and volunteering as well as national and international programs over the summer and winter breaks.

CISV (formerly Children’s International Summer Villages) focuses on educating youth through experiential learning activities and by providing leadership opportunities to allow youth to develop personal skills, leadership abilities, and confidence.

If you’re a new family to our organization, or you might know someone who’s interested in joining, Info Night is the perfect opportunity to learn about what we do!

Immediately following the info session, we’ll be having our annual welcome back event for all the CISVers who traveled this summer. From 8:00-9:00 pm, discover the impact of CISV’s programming by hearing from all the participants and leaders that went camps this summer at our Peace Night. For those who took part in the earlier info session, you’re invited to stick around to learn more about our different programmes directly from those who experienced them. It’s a great way to hear firsthand about CISV camps and how they impact our youth.

We hope you’ll join us at our event and we welcome you in advance to the CISV Victoria community.
