MINI MINI-CAMP is HERE!! Mini-camps are an opportunity for JBers to get a sample of what it might be like to go to a CISV camp. It’s a great way to get a taster of CISV activities beyond the 2-hours of a JB meeting. This event is an opportunity for youth to connect, learn, and play for longer than just our usual 2-hour events. This allows for more and longer activities, community meals, and lots of energizers.
Who: For all Junior Branch members ages 10+. New and returning JBers AND your friends are also welcome – please have your friends also register though. We are also looking for enthusiastic staff/junior staff ages 18+ who would like to help support our Steering team throughout the day.
When: Saturday November 25th, 2023 from 10am to 6pm. We will be providing lunch midway through the day, as well as a light snack but please have breakfast before your arrival.
Where: Maria Montessori Academy (184 Fairburn Drive, Victoria BC).
What is it: A fun day of CISV games, activities, and friendship! Steering has a day of multiple events planned for you. Lunch and snacks are included.
Cost: $30 per participant or $50 for 2 participants (this can be a second family member or a friend who is NEW to CISV). Staff/junior staff get to attend for free (but still need to fill out the registration form).
We will also be collecting bottles at this event as a fundraiser for the Youth Meeting our Chapter will be hosting next summer. Please bring any clean and empty bottles to drop-off and a member of our team will take them to the Bottle Depot.
Registration: To register, please go fill out our registration form. For payment, send an e-transfer to treasurer@cisvvictoria.com with “Mini Mini-Camp” and the name(s) of who you’re paying for as the message. If you are interested in being a staff/junior staff for the day, please send an email to our JB Liaison, Leanna, to let her know. Registration is due by 8pm on Thursday, November 23rd!
